Once again we had a lovely outdoor photography shooting in the forest. We love searching for locations that bring a plus to our sessions. Specializing in creative ourtdoor portraits we always look for the best place. Forest by itself is magical and combining it with children a portrait shooting will become outstanding! We love artistic photography with kids we always say how lucky we are.
We will soon be posting the images of this session!

“I hope that my daughter grows up empowered and doesn’t define herself by the way she looks but by qualities that make her a intelligent, strong and responsible woman.“
We spent a lovely time photographing the new collection of Mousselina. Inspired on and for the Muslim women. Its new autumn clothing design is both elegant and distinctive and not forgetting, of course its femininity.

“Never ever doubt in magic. The purest honest thoughts come from children, ask any child if they believe in magic and they will tell you the truth.
At JuliaArtPhotography we love children and the way they look at the camera feeling like a princess, fary or any other creature of the woods…Magic photography for children is much more than a shot or a wonderful picture…is about how children and parents live a magic day in their life.
Shooting portrait session for Jimena.

In my opinion when you strongly believe in something you have to fight for that idea to the end, even when you don’t know what the results will be. ! And here we are! telling unique stories for each child, inventing characters that will be fixed in our memory.
This is the message I received from Belén on a Friday night:
“Well, well, well … I‘m speechless, I could not finish reading that I burst into tears. I’m so glad of the choice I made. such beautiful photos, what a beautiful text, and the album totally different. Júlia .. thank you very much, I’m plethoric “
To these words I can only add a small piece of the text attached to one of the images of this story:
“The sisters are finally together. Will remain Intertwined by the heart, from now and forever, and won’t be in this world or the next, nor beam or scintilla, or witch or bad wolf that separates them.
We look at them-with adult nostalgia–and we let be drawn into his small, immaculate happiness.
What’s a sister Mom?
Ask the girls in unison. And mom looks and looks, and can not respond. But she knows that the world will be better with them. “

We travel fast, we’re on the train from Barcelona to Madrid. I look through the windows but my eyes see only scenes that a few hours later I’ll live.
Deep green eyes look at me ready to follow each of my movements. The pink dress highlights the look that captives me, and that I can only express with images. Feathers, hoods, and princess’ props set the scene and Daniela’s character shines through.
In the child’s dreamtime between reality and fantasy, She lives in the magic that surrounds her, breathing in every moment. She shuns reality because, although she knows that dreams must end, she wants to be there. Just one step away from reality, she knows this story is going to be special, so special; because in this tale she is not alone, she is with Mom.
For Daniela, Princess of the Feathers

Last SonimagPhoto 2011 I had the pleasure of participating in the exhibition that organized the AFP (Association of Professional Photographers) with the presence of 100 Spanish photographers.
On this occasion I presented for the first time one of the images “Angel” that belongs to the new series in which I am working “Small Big World”
ALL ADJECTIVES SUIT BARCELONA. They’ve told us it’s sensible, dirty, bright, insecure, cosmopolitan, caring, modern, orderly, militant, irreverent, blue, obscene, hospitable, poetic, sinister, chaotic…Phew! And here I’m stopping because listing them all is wearing me out. I’ll just add that, for me, after reading and re-reading some of Julia’s photos, there also exists an invisible Barcelona: a city I’ve never seen and am unlikely to see again aoutside this book.
Some photos during the installation in the music school of Palafolls. I want to thank all the staff for their support and participation in this project. I hope you have the opportunity to attend this exhibition.Read More›
